Think for Yourself
In 2008 I was involved in organising a series of three clubnights in Leeds venues called Think for Yourself. Featuring live music, visuals, participatory artwork and DJing, it initially began at The Common Place, before moving to The Library on Woodhouse Lane. Having a team of four other people no doubt helped to make the project a huge success, and the final event attracted 300 people to the small upstairs room at The Library with headliners Mr Beasley (Bad Sneakers Records).
I took overall responsibility for venue booking and artist contact, with the participatory artwork element and poster design being overseen by artist Nicolar Bell, and projected visuals co-ordinated by Lawrie Cape.
